The FG 530 has been designed as a compact 2 way foreground music speaker, providing speech clarity for announcements and quality music reproduction. The unit uitilises a 120 mm dynamic full range speaker driver to cater for the lower frequencies and a 25 mm dome tweeter coupled on to a constant directivity wave guide for the higher frequencies. All the components work seamlessly together to provide a frequency response of 75 Hz ~ 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 105 dB, making the FG 530 suitable for applications that require high audio quality and precise sound projection such as hypermarkets, exhibition centers and sports complexes. The unit can be conveniently mounted horizontally or vertically without the need to rotate its wave guide due to its symmetrical design. Mounting is by means of surface mounting or by utilising the provided mounting bracket to mount the unit at a tilt angle of either 0° or 20° with 180° pan capability.

The whole unit is enclosed in an aesthetically pleasing and durable high impact ABS enclosure with options of either white or black finish. The front of the unit is fitted with an epoxy coated perforated steel mesh with a open-cell foam to break direct water splash. Featuring a built-in line matching transformer, the unit is suitable for a 70 V and 100 V distributed speaker system. An 8 Ω model is also available for low impedance applications.
